Ariadne joined FBS in 2022 as a member of the Customer Success team. In addition to video tutorials, she also creates content for the Flexmls Help website and the Help With This Page guidance in Flexmls. As a true grammar nerd and bookworm, Ariadne will passionately argue the importance of the serial comma (and why the book is always better than the movie). Outside of work, Ariadne enjoys creating music, spending quality time with her family, and being the official, unpaid photographer and videographer for her pets.

Learn how to set up and connect to the Flexmls MCP Server via the Claude AI Assistant. Once connected, you can ask Claude for info such as production data, listing searches, market stats, and more, and get answers straight from your MLS data.

If allowed by your MLS, you can connect Flexmls to an AI assistant of your choice, such as Claude or ChatGPT, via a secure model context protocol server. This MCP connection allows your AI assistant to get data directly from the MLS. In this example, we’ll set up an MCP connection with Claude. To set up the MCP server with Claude, first enable the MCP server from Flexmls.

Under Preferences in the Flexmls menu, click AI settings. Then, use the toggle to enable the MCP server. Accept the terms of use agreement and then complete the setup by following the instructions displayed on the screen. Note that you will need the MCP server URL to complete the setup in Claude. Click Copy to copy the URL address. Log into Claude with your credentials.

Once logged in, click your username at the bottom left corner of the screen. Then, click Settings. Under Customize, click Connectors. Then, click Add. Enter a name for your connector, and then paste the MCP server URL. Click continue. In the pop up window, down and click add.

Click connect to connect to the MCP server. Once connected, you’ll see a confirmation message. Once you’ve completed the MCP server setup, we recommend disabling any settings that allow Claude to store your data. To do so, click your username at the bottom left corner. Then, click Settings. Click Privacy, and then use the toggle to disable the Help improve our AI model setting.

Now you can use Claude to get your production data, run listing searches, and pull market statistics directly from Flexmls. Once you’ve gathered the information you want, you can use Claude to help you analyze the market, create reports, create marketing material and more.
